Police are investigating the Friday night shooting death of a 21-year-old Montgomery resident.

Tanario Abner died from a gunshot wound, police said. Police and Fire Medics found Abner after responding at about 10:39 p.m. to a call to the 3400 block of Fountain Circle. Abner was pronounced dead at the scene.
